Age: 12 to 18 months
At Royal Windsor Montessori and Daycare our infant program provides child care that stimulates your baby’s emotional, physical and cognitive development. We offer a safe and welcoming environment rich with opportunity to discover. Children can actively enjoy making sense of the world around them by exploring a sensory filled environment. Our infant room is a safe and warm place with soft space for infants to crawl and walk around. Some materials in the infant room include: stacking toys, push toys, soft books, soft building blocks, cuddly toys, toys for pretend play, colourful mobiles, musical instruments, toys with mirrors and safe equipment to roll onto or climb/pull themselves up on. In our infant room and outdoor playground natural materials and sensory tables are used to inspire infant’s curious nature.
Our infant program uses different sights, sounds and textures that stimulate the infants mind. The program is also full of singing, nursery rhymes, finger plays helping infants build communication skills. We strive to provide activities that encourage infants to successfully progress forward to reach milestones.
At Royal Windsor Montessori and Daycare we realize that the first years of your child’s life is essential, that is why our infant educators build strong bonds of trust with parents and children. We feel that by building a loving and trusting foundation for infants they can then gain the confidence needed to build positive and trusting relationships with others.
Our teacher infant ratio of 1 to 3 ensures that each infant receives individual attention and that their daily needs are met. Each child’s feeding, sleeping and diapering needs are met in accordance to our daily schedule. With plenty of love, care, communication and play interactions our infants are guided to becoming well rounded and happy children.
