Age: 2.5 to 4 years
Children at this age begin to investigate and explore how the world works around them. Our preschool program offers an enriched educational curriculum with a variety of activities to help the child establish a foundation for lifetime learning. Children work both independently and in small groups in various learning centers within the classroom. Learning centers include reading and listening, writing, construction, dramatic play, creative art, science and sensorial.
Our teacher to child ratio is 1 to 8. The classroom is designed to help children actively learn. Each learning center is equipped with age-appropriate learning materials, open-ended and closed-ended theme oriented activities that encourage independence, language development, reasoning and problem solving.
Flexibility within the program allows for teachers to adapt learning activities according to children’s interests and needs. Our teachers implement activities that help children build positive self images.
Teachers ensure that activities facilitate language development and fine and gross motor skills. Children are introduced to letter recognition, pre-writing, pre-reading, mathematical concepts, music, movement and creative arts. Our program offers children social and pre-academic skills necessary to succeed in Kindergarten.
